Went to NY to get some good vibes flowing to help me put the SURFING Magazine 2011 Swimsuit Issue together this week. Got more than enough, now it's time for my favorite part: sit down with the music cranked up and start building.

More like best job on the planet! On location in the Dominican Republic for this years SURFING Magazine 2011 Swimsuit Issue. Lots of sun and great people always make for a good trip. Putting this one together now, looks like it's going to be the best one yet.

I've been working with Kai Neville on the web posts for his new project Lost Atlas. He's scouring the planet with some of the worlds best and letting me play with the amazing imagery he brings back. Saw these owners of music at the Casbah last night. They put on a psychedelic trance inducing performance that sent me through a time warp to 1968. There was more long haired mustached kids in the audience then in the bleachers of the Dodgers 1974 world series. If they stroll through your town, get off your couch.

— 3 PART REVIEW —

SOUND: It was at the CASBAH, with 25 people in the room, and an ice cold Tecate in my hand. It sounded exactly how all music should sound. Loud and clear.

STAGE PRESENCE: Skinny long haired musicians that were not afraid to use the stage. With a female bass player that moved with the likes of a willow tree in stiff wind on horse back. She ended the show on her knees with her bass wedged into an amp that produced magical visuals and sounds.

GET LOST FACTOR: Without sweaty hippies bouncing into me and a cold beer in hand, i was able to let my mind enter their realm of bass thumping chest bending guitar rifts that made me speed home blasting The Misfits out of pure joy. It was not hard to fall for their musical trickery.

Well played The Entrance Band, well played.
